From Arms to Crib

Your arms are the most natural thing in the world for a baby. For them, being held means warmth, safety and being close to mom. There is nothing wrong with that.

And at the same time, there are very valid reasons for wanting your baby to also be able to sleep in their crib. Because you need sleep. Because sometimes other people care for them. Because you need time for yourself. And all of that is valid.

This guide is not about choosing between arms or crib. It's about making both options part of your life.

Is this guide for you?

It's for you if your baby is between 0 and 12 months old and you've been trying to get them to sleep in the crib without success.

  • You put them down asleep and they wake up moments later
  • You put them down awake and can't settle them
  • So you pick them up, get them back to sleep, put them down again… and they wake up. The same cycle, over and over
  • You've read everything on Instagram, asked ChatGPT, and nothing is actually working

A note about this guide

I didn't write this just from what I learned in my sleep consultant certification. It includes everything I read before becoming a mom (that actually helped with my first two babies), what I keep learning working with real families like yours, and my own experience as a mom of three.

The theory usually sounds like magic, but reality can be very different. In this guide, I talk about both sides.
